Young Entrepreneurs Workshop.

A practical workshop where young learners explore ideas, creativity, money, problem-solving and the basics of building something people can use.

The Young Entrepreneurs Workshop gives learners an opportunity to explore entrepreneurship in a practical and engaging way. It is designed to help students think about everyday problems, identify opportunities and develop ideas that could become useful products, services or projects.

During the workshop, learners will work in small groups to develop simple business ideas. They will discuss the problem they want to solve, think about who might use their idea and explore the basics of planning, budgeting, pricing, marketing and presenting a concept. There will be plenty of room for questions, experimentation and creative thinking.

Learners will also get an opportunity to develop and present their ideas to other participants. Working through an idea from the first thought to a simple presentation helps students practise communication, teamwork, decision-making and confidence while giving them a better understanding of how businesses are created.

The workshop is part of Tutor Republic’s commitment to helping learners develop useful skills beyond their academic subjects. Students can come with an idea they already have or simply come ready to think, create and explore. Who knows, the next interesting Kenyan business idea could start around a table at this workshop.
