A Parent In Manchester
Heritage Swahili Academy
My son was born in Manchester and had never had a real conversation with his grandmother. Now he calls her every Sunday, in Kiswahili.
About Tutor Republic.
Tutor Republic connects your child to real teachers, TSC accredited, teaching live classes in small groups or one on one. Honestly, we built this because too many capable kids in Kenya just weren’t getting the structured support they need. Whether your child’s in Nairobi or growing up somewhere far from it, we want them learning from someone who actually shows up.
How Classes Work.
Every class runs live, in a group of 20 or fewer, or one on one if that’s what your child needs.
You get a real teacher, a real schedule, and a monthly report so you’re not left guessing what’s going on.
Our Programmes.
Tutor Republic connects your child to TSC accredited teachers across five programmes, built for wherever your family actually is.
Core subjects for Grade 4 through 9, taught live so your child actually gets seen, not just seated.
Real exam prep for Form 4, plus evening and weekend classes if you’re coming back for another shot.
Live Kiswahili and culture for Kenyan kids growing up abroad, so talking to grandma isn’t awkward anymore.
A holiday programme for school leavers who don’t want to just sit around waiting for university to start.
An ongoing skills track, open year round. More on this one soon, we’re still finalizing it.
Register & Pay.
Getting your child started with Tutor Republic doesn’t take long, honestly. You register, we match you with the right teacher, and your child’s in a live class within days.

Not every family can pay a full term upfront, and we don’t think they should have to. Lipa Pole Pole lets you spread your fees out instead of paying it all at once.
