No confusing sign-up, no guesswork about who’s teaching your child. Here’s exactly what happens, step by step.
Process
01.
Register & Receive An Admission Number
Every family starts here. For a one-time KES 2,000 registration fee (or the equivalent for diaspora families), your child completes a short academic assessment – not a test to pass or fail, but a way to place them with the right teacher at the right level from day one.
On registration and after assessment, you or your child is issued a permanent, sequential admission number (for example, TR-2026-1042) that stays with them for as long as they’re part of Tutor Republic, referenced on every report, certificate, and record from that point forward.

Get Matched & Choose A Format
Based on the assessment, we recommend a starting point. You then choose how your child learns:
- Group Class (Max 20 Students): Live, structured lessons with a fixed weekly time. Pricing depends on your programme and format; See Full Pricing ⟶
- One-On-One: A dedicated session with undivided teacher attention, flexible booking within your teacher’s available hours.

Attend Live Lessons, On Your Time Zone
Once assigned, your class has a fixed day and time, and a direct link to join, sent to you by email and available anytime on your personal class page (just your admission number and first name to look it up).”
04.
Learn, Practise, Get Feedback
Lessons run securely, and after each live lesson, your child may be guided with their homework. Every recording is saved privately.

Track Real Progress, Every Month
Parents receive structured monthly progress reports, attendance, homework completion, and academic growth, tied to your child’s admission number and record.
A Note On What We Promise.
We don’t promise a specific grade jump, and we’re wary of anyone who does.
What we promise is a TSC-accredited teacher, a real curriculum, and consistent structure, the same ingredients that help a C student steadily work toward a C+, and a C+ student steadily work toward a B-.

Pay in full via M-Pesa, card, or bank transfer, or spread the cost with Lipa Pole Pole, our pay-gradually option, so a full term’s fees are never a single difficult conversation.

A Note On Rescheduling & Attendance
Life happens, we’ve built the system to be fair, not rigid. One-on-one lessons can be rescheduled free of charge up to 24 hours in advance.
If a student doesn’t join within 15 minutes of a lesson’s start time, it’s recorded as attended for that session, except in genuine emergencies, just message your teacher or our support team.
